Another month has already passed, which means it is time to get caught up with what you can expect in the Animal Crossing world in August 2026. I’m hoping I might have a chance to hop back in my Let’s Go To The City save this month which I’ve abandoned for a couple of years (I just want to turn on the Wii U for a bit).
As usual, some content on this page is adapted from Nookipedia under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Each week in overview
I’ve again worked on refining the weekly overview posts. This time I’ve replaced the game text with various tags: these are Doubutsu no Mori (inc + release) (DnM abbreviated), Animal Crossing (GameCube release outside of Japan) (AC abbreviated), Doubutsu no Mori e+ (e+ abbreviated), Wild World (WW abbreviated), Let’s Go To The City (LGTTC abbreviated), New Leaf (NL abbreviated) and New Horizons (NH abbreviated).
For regional events, they’ll continue to use the old style. I would greatly appreciated some feedback on the tags since I’m a bit concerned about the legibility of it all.

There’s not really a lot going on to be honest this month. You have the various Fireworks Shows, as well as the Founder’s Day and Meteor Shower events in Animal Crossing and DnM e+.

Before I go, it’s worth reminding you that Nintendo recently released some custom designs to go along with the immensely popular Splatoon Raiders which you may want to grab. Make sure to let me know in the comments on what you’re planning to do in Animal Crossing this month, also feel free to leave your thoughts about Raiders too!
