Splatoon 3 first anniversary Splatfest: here’s the Sneak Peek results + what’s special about it so far

I’m writing this at 2am, so I’m sorry if I miss anything here.

Splatoon 3 has officially turned 1, and to coincide with this, there’s a Splatfest running until Monday at 1am fighting for which idol will make the best leader.

However, this is no ordinary Splatfest, as I’ve noticed a few changes with this special Splatfest that I thought you should know.

First of all, let’s quickly do the Sneak Peek results. Team Frye won, leaving Team Big Man in second and Team Shiver in third. For the percentage figures, refer to this screenshot from OatmealDome.

Now, we can get to what’s special about this Splatfest.

First of all, Splatfest Battle (Open) and (Pro) now have separate rotations. I’m unsure whether this will continue into future Splatfests, but I hope so.

Secondly, in this Splatfest, there’s confetti that appears for around the first 5 seconds of the match.

Next, the win/lose music is different this Splatfest, each idol has their own win/lose music.

Finally, at half-time, you’ll be able to play EVERY past Tri-Colour stage.

If I get any more information I’ll update this, but I hope that you’re now informed.
