Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow at 3pm, but don’t expect anything related to Splatoon

It’s that time of year again everyone. Around half an hour ago, Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct which will take place tomorrow at 3pm BST1.

It’ll be around 40 minutes long and we can expect announcements for some games that are rumoured to be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

However, I wouldn’t expect any Splatoon news.

It seems too early for Nintendo to announce a Splatfest (although it is still possible) and based on information from dataminers, it seems unlikely that we’ll hear anything about Side Order.

Right now, it’s predicted that Side Order will release sometime in Season 7 (Fresh Season 2023), as a lot of datamined returning Splatoon 2 items were delayed.

Instead, if you want to expect any Side Order news, I’d recommend waiting until the next Direct which will probably happen sometime in February.
