What to expect in Animal Crossing in June 2026

Hey everyone! We are trialling a new type of post in Crossing Corner on what you can expect in June 2026 in the Animal Crossing World.

I have had an idea for a monthly overview post concept for a few months but that just is not feasible for me to produce at the moment. So instead, I thought I would just recap with the important things that you might want to know and advanced publishing of our Weekly Outlook posts (so you know what is going on before anyone else).

Before we start, some of the content on this page is adapted from Nookipedia under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Each week in overview

Take a look at all 5 Weekly Outlook posts at once! How cool is that? Highlights of this month is the Wedding Season in New Horizons, Snowstorm in New Horizons islands located in the Southern Hemisphere and the Graduation Day event in the GameCube titles. Another thing to note is that the Fishing Tourney takes place on every Sunday in June in GameCube titles.

Nook Shopping events

In Animal Crossing New Horizons, Nook Shopping events will be available for International Children’s Day (all month), the June Solstice (June 14th to 21st) and Father’s Day (all month).

Bugs, creatures and fish

In order to make it easier, I am just focusing on New Horizons but here are the major arrivals this month and the major departures at the end of the month. For the sake of making things easier, anything above 2000 Bells in value is covered.

  • Goliath beetle & rainbow stag arrives in Northern Hemisphere islands
  • Emperor butterfly arrives in all islands
  • Peacock butterfly leaves in Northern Hemisphere islands at the end of the month
  • Rajah Brooke’s birdwing arrives in Southern Hemisphere islands
  • Dorado, great white shark, whale shark, saw shark, arowana, arapaima, hammerhead shark, gar, giant snakehead, saddled bichir & piranha arrives in Northern Hemisphere islands
  • Char leaves in Northern Hemisphere islands at the end of the month
  • Tiger prawn, gazami crab & abalone arrives in Northern Hemisphere islands
  • Lobster arrives in Southern Hemisphere islands
  • Lobster leaves in Northern Hemisphere islands at the end of the month

If you appreciated this article and would like me to continue making a longer monthly overview, let me know. Also make sure to let me know what your plans are for your Animal Crossing towns or islands in the comments below, perhaps we could feature them somewhere?

Please consider sharing this with friends so that this reaches more people and that I can continue publishing content on our accounts. This blog is also on the fediverse now, so you can follow @blog@experiencersinternational.com to never miss a post from my blog (although bare in mind I cover various topics).
